Adult CPR
Training - 3 hours
Hands-on skills training for adult CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) , prepares
participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies.

Prepares participants to prevent, recognize and provide
basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children under
the age of 12.

First Aid
Training - 3 hours
Participants learn first aid skills for treating a variety
of injuries, such as burns: wounds: head, neck and back injuries: and heat- and
cold- related emergencies.Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke,
seizure, bites and poisoning.

Training - 1 hours
Training is available as an add-on to both adult CPR and
child CPR training. Participants learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on adult victims or cardiac or child victims or cardiac
arrest between the ages of 1 and 8.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Training - 8 hours
This course is designed for any individual who has a duty to
respond to emergencies. This is an 8 hour course. Participants will learn to
respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants.

Training - 9 hours
Combination course that covers and certifies successful participants in 'CPR for the Professional Rescuer' and the use of an AED(automated external defibrillator).

New York
State First Aid for Coaches [CGNFA101]
Training - 12 hours
New
York State First Aid for Coaches allows an elementary or secondary level
athletic coach to meet the New York State Education Department's First Aid
requirements. This course has full approval from the State Education
Department, in addition to full approval from the American Red Cross. Twelve
hours, consisting of a four hour guided reading activity and an eight hour
classroom session. Students must complete the guided reading and exercise
by the first night of the class.
They
must also be in attendance for the entire classroom portion of the class .

Babysitting Class
Training - 6 hours
Participants between the age of 11 and 15 learn the basic
care of infants through school age children, how to make responsible decisions
and prevent and respond to emergencies.

Six comprehensive course levels teach participants to
swim skillfully and safely conduct themselves aroung the pool..

Lifeguard Training
Training - 24 hours
This course prepares participants, 15 years of age or older,
for employment as lifeguards and includes CPR and first aid skills: skills
based scenarios and decision making.
Prerequisites:
15 years or older, must meet swim skill requirements.

Water Safety Instructor
Training -30 hours
Participants, 16 years of age or older, are trained to plan
and conduct courses within the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety
Programs. This class covers teaching progressions, course and lesson planning,
recognizing common skill errors, providing corrective feedback.

Response to Emergencies (RTE)
Training - 24 hours
The course content and activities help participants identify and
eliminate potentially hazardous conditions, recognize emergencies and make
appropriate decisions for first aid care. This program also emphasizes
prevention of injuries and illness, with a focus on personal safety and health.
Using a healthy lifestyles-awareness inventory, participants assess their
environment and personal habits to reduce their risk of injury and illness.

Review Classes
Review classes are available for most classes. A review class is a comprehensive review of required skills for the particulare skill to include the tests. Test must meet standards to be re-certified in the skill.
Prerequisites: Must hold a current, valid certification in the subject matter

We will issue replacements for lost or damaged course certification card to you upon request and a fee. Cards will be issue only if the card has not expired.
